Coronavirus

Our response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Our Services

Based on the CDC's recommendations and government health agencies' guidelines we are suspending all services, meetings and events. You can view our Sunday services on line https://gracegospeltabernacle.org/church-online and/or dial in to our Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting. When services resumes we will be practicing Social Distancing.

While our meetings will be on hiatus we encourage you to continue giving your tithes and offerings for the work of the Lord through online giving at https://gracegospeltabernacle.org/giving. Your help is needed and would be greatly appreciated.

Let’s continue to pray and encourage one another, and let’s not waver in trusting God. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us, and His Word is true.

Centers for Disease Control

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided an interim guidance for organizations and places of public gatherings to protect against the coronavirus (COVID-19). Every day we’re learning more about this new virus that causes respiratory illness. At this point the best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus.

Grace Gospel Tabernacle has taken precautionary steps to provide a healthy and safe environment for our members, frequent visitors and guests. As the CDC updates their interim guidance we will follow suit. To date, our Interim Guidance includes the following precautions:

1. Perform Routine Environmental Cleaning:

Increase the frequency of our routine cleaning of all touched surfaces including doorknobs, light switches, restroom fixtures, countertops, etc. with the typical germ-killing cleaners. Use all cleaning products according to the directions on the label. Provide hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol or disposable wipes throughout all entrances, exits, children’s classrooms, Information Area desk and other high traffic areas. Increase outside airflow to sanctuary, classrooms, lobby areas, and meeting spaces in order to improve fresh airflow throughout our facilities.

2. Reinforce Safe and Healthy Personal Practices:

For the health and well-being of the Grace Gospel Tabernacle community and/or members of congregation that have flu-like symptoms, you should please stay at home and view the online service and/or the Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting Online. As a friendly community we’re reminding everyone to use good hygiene practices. Hand washing must include soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use of a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Everyone is reminded to cover their nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing (or cough/sneeze into your elbow or shoulder if no tissue is available). Be sensitive to how others prefer to be greeted during this time. Some may prefer to simply touch elbows with yours rather than offer the customary handshake, kiss on the cheek, or hug.

3. Establish Communication Strategy:

We will closely monitor all changes in the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), review the United States CDC’s guidance periodically, and adhere to all government health agencies’ guidelines to identify any additional strategies we can use to safeguard all members of our church community.
